Heilberg began his career at Salomon Brothers, gaining hands-on experience in capital markets, and later joined AIG Trading Group, where he became a partner and led the Global Emerging Markets division, managing complex transactions across multiple regions and asset classes. In 2001, he founded a family office focused on opportunities in high-growth and frontier markets.
With a deep interest in risk management and technology, Philippe Heilberg co-founded Arbol Inc., a New York-based insurtech company that provides parametric insurance solutions to help businesses and communities manage climate and weather-related risks. He also co-founded dClimate, a decentralized network that leverages blockchain and artificial intelligence to bring greater transparency and efficiency to climate data and environmental markets.
